Clear Slip Resistant Coating

Are Your Surfaces Slippery When They Are Exposed To The Weather?

It seems like these days when buildings are being designed that sometimes surfaces are not being made slip resistant in line with environmental requirements for reducing liability
Slip Resistant before after

Create a Slip Resistant Surface with a Clear Coating.

Now you don’t need to change the look of the existing tiles to achieve a slip resistant finish.

Simply apply the Clear Waterproofing Membrane for:

  • Stone Foyers
  • Internal areas like slippery timber staircases
  • External surfaces, including tiled and concrete areas that you wish to make slip resistant

26.4m2 or 284ft2: 4L or 1Gallon Kit and selected the aggregate to meet the desired rating

66m2 or 710ft2: 10L or 2.6 Gallon Kit and selected the aggregate to meet the desired rating

Choose from our options:

  1. P3 Mild or Standard; This option is used for all waterproofing in wet areas. It’s easy to clean & not noticeable. P3rating 10ml or half tablespoon of Standard Aggregate per m2 or 10.7ft2

Ideal for smooth surfaces. If your surface is already a little slip resistant, then you may prefer to go for either medium rating. If your tile is light to medium and high rating if your tiles are dark as you will lose some slip resistance in the highs and lows of the current tile profile.

  2. P4 Medium; Harder to Clean, and P4Rating 20ml or 1 tablespoon of Standard Aggregate per m2 or 10.7ft2 because of the increased aggregate can leave a cloudy appearance. It’s recommended for use on light to medium colored tiles.

Ideal for slip surfaces that have existing slip resistance to them and are light to medium in color.

  3. P5 High; suitable for surfaces seeking high slip resistance externally. The aggregate is able to be seen in the sun reflection. Suitable for all colored surfaces, including tiles. 10ml or half a tablespoon on Increased Aggregate per m2 or 10.7 ft2

Ideal for surfaces of any color and texture.

  4. Very High; suitable for surfaces seeking high slip resistance externally, potentially too high for internal use. 20ml or 1 tablespoon of Increased Aggregate per m2 or 10.7ft2

Due to increase, aggregate membrane can appear slightly cloudy and recommended for light to medium colored tiles.

Ideal for surfaces of light to medium color

Wet Pendulum Test Method completed by NATA Accredited laboratory, please request copies if required.

Samples were completed on a smooth surface. If your surface is already in all applications, the suggested aggregated is mixed into the liquid and applied as normal, with continuous mixing necessary to keep the aggregate from settling.

If you are a company, you have the ability to request a presentation folder of tiles samples to feel the textural difference between the aggregates.

“We had a rental property located in another state and the Property Manager advised that that both of our showers were leaking and that the whole bathroom was getting covered in mold as a consequence for the tenant who had young children. We didn’t want to spend thousands ripping up the showers, and we couldn’t take them out of action for the tenants, so we were recommended to try the Clear Waterproofing Membrane.

I’m delighted to say that Jasmin was able to fix both showers in 1 day so the tenants were able to shower before the repair and 24 hours after the repair. Highly recommend! The next project is the leaky balcony!”

“Thank you so much for all your work, support and advice regarding the water leaking & efflorescence issues we faced in our apartment block in Mornington. I just reflected on our project which started with potentially having to replace 500 sqm of tiles on our level 4 terrace at a very significant cost to us.

Instead of replacing the tiles, we luckily found Remedial Membranes and you were able to offer a solution which decreased the cost for this project by a whopping 75%. The clear membrane looks terrific and has 100% stopped the water leak issues from the terrace.”

“My shower was leaking and I wanted to repair it myself. So I purchased the kit and watched the video and installed the membrane. I had a few questions through the process so I took a picture and text them through to the helpdesk and received an immediate call back.”

“I contacted Remedial Membranes after we sold our house but one of the conditions of the sale was the showers to be repaired. We didn’t have any spare tiles and the new owners did not want the look to change so the idea of putting a clear membrane over the surface was a perfect solution to everyone involved. The job was done in 1 morning and the sale went through. Highly recommend Remedial Membranes. Their ability to work to a deadline was fundamental for the success!”
